The way we have changed our learning and the way we do things in class, is we are not allowed to get up take pictures whenever we want or go out of the classroom or even go into the dark room.
In this term we have changed the way we work and what we are looking at is the theme of make do and mend. This was a phrase used by nation during WW2 to help households use what they have to survive during the rationing period, as well has to cover holes non the underwear ,tops, trousers and jumpers.

Why do I think Marcel Duchamp decided to appropriate Da Vinci's famous art work. >I believe Marcel decided to change the Mona Lisa to show the freedom you can have with your art and what you can do with it and to also prove the point that he probably believe that the Mona Lisa was a self portrait of Leonardo Da Vinci.

Hannah Hoch is a world famous artist from Germany where she honed her skills in the school of applied arts in Berlin, Charlottenburg.
What can I see in this picture? I can see elements of mechanics with ladies with blown out hair. It gives of the feeling of female empowerment. Which part of the image stands out to me the most and why? The girl sitting with the umbrella and the lightbulb for her head while she sits in-between a bunch of machines, in the foreground. This part stands out to me because it shows that we can all be smart powerful and that art is an international language we all understand.
The are two parts of two different images that make up this collage one that consists of several parts of the female body while the other consists of mechanics and car type symbols.
'The beautiful girl'. This is the name of this piece of artwork and I find this challenging for some one who is not female to understand as it shows our challenging nature and that we are not afraid to show our worth. If I was to rename this work I would call it 'The female.'
>Vintage >Shining >In due time.
What was Hannah Hoch thinking when she made this collage? What was Hannah Hoch feeling when she made the collage? Why did Hannah Hoch make this piece of art?
